Not sure where to start? Here's the quick guide:

  • T-Ball (ages 4–6): Look for T-Ball certified bats, lightweight with a big barrel.
  • USA Baseball (ages 7–13): Required for most Little League and rec programs. Balanced feel, easy to swing.
  • USSSA (travel ball): Higher-performance bats for tournament and travel teams. More pop, stricter league requirements — check your league before buying.
  • BBCOR (high school & college): The standard for 9th grade and up. Drop -3 required.
  • Wood bats: Great for development, cage work, and leagues that require them.
